What To Do Prior To Your Appointment
Be gentle to your teeth and gums before coming in! Don't floss and just lightly brush teeth that morning.
Make sure you eat before coming in as you cant eat anything for 2 hrs. Water is fine to drink right away.

Whitening Instructions:
Drinking water for the next 2 hours will decrease possible sensitivity. Avoid any other food or beverages for the next 2 hours.
Do Not Smoke or Chew tobacco for at least 2 hours.
Avoid any dark colored food or beverage for at least 24 hours. NO– coffee, tea, soda, cool-aid, red wine, tomato sauce, red meat, dark col-ored vegetables, or anything with heavy color for at least 24 hours.
YES— water, white wine, white chicken, pork, turkey, noodles, white sauce , white cheese, potatoes, etc. after 2 hours
NEXT 48 hours: brush very gently with a white toothpaste, DO NOT BRUSH GUMS, avoid using a whitening or baking soda tooth paste.
Any sensitivity is typically gone within 24 hours. You may choose to purchase the DaVinci desensitizing gel or take a mild pain reliever .

Will DaVinci Teeth Whitening work on crowns, fillings, veneers, and bridges (composite materials)?
DaVinci teeth whitening will remove staining from composite materials but will not whiten the composite materials beyond the original color of the material used. DaVinci teeth whitening works well if your natural teeth are darker than the composite materials original color. Teeth whitening is a good option if you plan to replace the crown or filling after your whitening treatment. DaVinci Teeth Whitening will not damage or hurt the composite material.
